Role Overview: As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the business and its customers by identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activity across all platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor customer activity to detect and flag suspicious behaviour or fraudulent patterns investigate and take appropriate action on suspicious transactions or gameplay to prevent financial losses.
- Perform thorough fraud reviews on first-time redemptions, large redemptions, and flagged accounts
- Execute manual and automated KYC (Know Your Customer) and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) checks
- Understand and apply chargeback (CHB) processes to minimize financial exposure
- Collaborate with Payment, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to ensure timely resolution of fraud cases and escalations.
- Respond to fraud-related inquiries from customers and internal departments during your shift, aiming for efficient and customer-focused resolutions.
- Maintain high-quality case documentation and audit trails to support internal analysis and external regulatory audits.
- Use fraud detection tools and internal dashboards (e.g., Sumsub etc.) to investigate and manage cases.
- Support the achievement of departmental KPIs, including case handling time, accuracy, and fraud prevention rates.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, fraud tactics, and regulatory changes to adapt investigation strategies accordingly.
- Contribute to internal fraud prevention strategies and suggest improvements in procedures or automation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar fraud analysis role, preferably within the iGaming industry.
- Strong understanding of fraud risk management, KYC/EDD, and
chargeback handling processes. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and reliable – able to work on a rotating shift schedule,
including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
